Half marathon – 13.1 miles

Course description

The route for the Half starts in Newent, goes on the B4216 through Taynton to Huntley, turns left to Tibberton, left again to Taynton and back to Newent on the B4216 to the finish.

The roads are mostly quiet country roads and lanes. The course is partly flat and partly undulating.

Additional details

Medal and goody bag to all finishers.

Trophies for first man and lady.

Prizes for first 3 men and ladies plus first in each 5-year Masters age group.

24th July 2007 – Due to the ongoing water unavailability in the area and the still-flooded roads, we have taken the decision to cancel this year’s Gloucester Half Marathon. The event will be rescheduled for a date in September.
