RACE ENTRY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

RACE ENTRIES

The race entry limit is 250 runners.

More entries may be taken if we can find extra official car parking space.

If we find we can take more than 250 entries, we will do so.

Any entries taken after the first 250 will be classed as Late Entries and will not be eligible for a race memento.

If we find more car parking and decide to take late entries then those runners will not have to pay a late entry surcharge but will not receive a race memento.

Your cooperation in this matter would be appreciated

PARKING IN EPNEY

Please do not park on the driveways of private properties in Epney or block the entry and exits of these properties for the owners.

USE OF I-PODS

The wearing of I-Pods or similar personal entertainment devices during the race is prohibited.

Runners need to hear the instructions of race marshals and the movement of traffic on country lanes at all times. Registered deaf aids allowed.

Distance	10 miles
Course description	Flat, with two short climbs (100 ft) and descents. Course on quiet country roads around picturesque River Severn-side villages of Epney, Longney and Elmore.
Additional details	Ideal run to start your serious London Marathon or other spring marathon training. Note: The Gloucester 20 mile road race will be held on Sunday 4th March 2007. See website for race details

Latest news	A generous donation from the proceeds of this race will be made to the Amberley Ridge School, Rodborough Common, Stroud, School For Children With Special Needs Swimming Pool Project. In line with previous years, Gloucester Athletic Club has designated this race as a charity race and therefore to maximise their donation to the Amberley Ridge school there will be no race prize list. Car parking, toilets and changing facilities at the Anchor Inn are very limited so runners are requested to car-share and arrive changed ready to run. No showers are available. Your cooperation in these matters is greatly appreciated. The race terms and conditions for the 25th Anniversary Gloucester New Year 10 Mile Charity Road Race should be noted. With an entry limit of only 250 runners it is anticipated that this figure should be realised well before race weekend so competitors should enter early.
Race partners	Gloucester Athletic Club would like to thank the following:- The Gloucestershire Constabulary for their invaluable assistance with ongoing risk assessment and traffic control; The Gloucestershire branch of the British Red Cross for their many years of first aid cover at Gloucester AC races; The League of Friends of the Gloucester Samaritans for their assistance on race day; Robert and Joanne for the use of their land as the main race car park; and last but not least Mr Chris O’Carroll of Gloucester Sports, Worcester Street, Gloucester for his many years sponsorship of Gloucester AC road and multi terrain races.
Our Hosts	Gloucester Athletic Club would like to thank Sally Findlater and family and Andy and Joan Lyes, our hosts at the Anchor Inn, Epney, for their many years of support of Gloucester Athletic Club races and Gloucester Athletic Club charities of the year. We are greatly indebted to these people for their kindness in the use of their premises for Gloucester AC to raise money for a local charity every year.
Support our hosts	The race organising committee would like to highly recommend the Sunday lunches at the Anchor Inn at Epney. The freshly cooked meals are usually fully booked so any runners or spectators who would like to eat at the Anchor after the race should pre-book their meals.
